Autocad is one of the drawing program that every year always update, although we do not necessarily need to follow the change of program because we can use the old version without the need to follow the program update.

But if we use the program with the latest version of autocad automatically the program with the old version will not be able to open it if we do not set in the storage, I will explain how to store Autocad with the latest version to be read or can be opened in the old version.

At the time of making this tutorial I use autocad 2010 to save my file can be open in Autocad 2007 I will arrange it.

1. Please Go to Tools > Options button at the top of your autocad

2. Then please find the Open and Save For more details please see in the picture above.

3. Then select the lowest version, because I will use the 2007 version to open my Autocad file I choose Autocad 2007 / LT 2007 Drawing.

4. Then please save.

 After the steps are all done restart commuting that we use.

Whenever we create a drawing using autocad version 2017 or 2010 at the time of automatically save the format that we save is in version 2007 and we can open the drawing using Autocad version 2007 although in process image using version 2017.
